Every Christmas we ask for a special gift, a gift that makes sense. We need only 50 Euros to allow a Burmese refugee child to attend school for one year. With those 50 Euros we are able to pay for all expenses, such as teachers salaries, teaching supplies and textbooks, rent, school uniform and above that toiletries for the whole year. As well as this and most importantly, each child is guaranteed a healthy meal per day. We do not detract any expenses from your donation.

Thanks to the donations of many small and big donors we have been able to fund schools for more than 4.000 refugee children and many other projects, as our prosthetic workshop at the Maee Tao clinic and many more.

Now you can also order donation certificates. Instead of giving the "usual" things for birthday, Christmas or other festivities you can make happy a beloved person, a employee or a customer simply with one or more of our donation certificates. Every certificate has a value of 50 Euro and allows us to send a refugee child to school for one year. For more information see: Donation Certificates.

Our schools give the children the chance to live a safe community life in a protected environment and also to practise and preserve their languages, culture and traditions. Each of the children has been subject or testimony of incredible violence. The saw their fathers beaten to death and their mothers raped in front of the whole village.
