Become an Adopter!
Adopting a project is a direct form of help, as you will be connected with the project as the adopter. Help without Frontiers suggests projects according to your wishes and financial support. You can also adopt only part of a project. We do not arrange adoptions for single students, as many of the students are migrant workers' children who do not stay at the same school for long, but follow their parents and their work.
As an adopter you will receive the project description as well as budgets, documented reports and the yearly financial report. The adopter is always welcome to visit "his/her" project.
To give financial stability to the projects, we ask adopters to commit for at least 3 years. We don't include costs for administration and supervision, but would be happy to receive some.
Schools
As project adopter you adopt a school or kindergarten in Thailand or Burma, close to the Thai border. You can also adopt single Grades and will be administered as co-adopter. Your budget provides for teacher salaries, teaching equipment, stationeries, school uniforms, rent, student transportation and running costs.
Dormitories
You can become an adopter for a dormitory in Thailand or Burma, close to the Thai border. With your donation we buy necessities such as mosquito nets, soap, and mats as well as paying for salaries, food, rent and running costs. For many children, living in a dormitory is the only way they can attend a school.
Lunch for students
With your donation you finance the daily lunch for all students of a school. The healthy meals are prepared in our kitchen and delivered fresh daily. This ensures school attendance for many students, as many parents are forced to send their children to work for financiel reasons. The daily food at the schools has already shown positive results, with the children's health visibly increasing.
Clinics
You can adopt a clinic or first aid station in Burma, close to the Thai border. Your donation pays for salaries, training for medics and nurses, petrol for generators and food for patients and staff, as well as medicine, medical instruments, blankets, mosquito nets and mats.
