Parents are increasingly impoverished by the economic crisis and cannot properly feed their children anymore. They come to school weak and sick, and more and more have to go to work or beg. In our kitchen, a staff team of mainly refugees is employed to cook healthy and varied meals for more then 4.000 children per day, which are also delivered to the schools and dormitories.

A healthy meal costs around 25 cents, or 66 Euro per child per school year. The Trentino South Tyrol region made this project possible. Some adopters finance the meals for a whole school.
