Help without Frontiers' Income Generation project aims to help people in exile, especially women, to earn an income under fair and clean working conditions. Vocational qualifications and know how are also improved to prepare workers for further jobs.

The generated income stays in the community and doesn't go towards profit oriented companies. The surplus is invested in the programme's expansion.

With the help of the Trentino-South Tyrol Region, Help without Frontiers started an income generation project for refugee women. The central kitchen delivered 579.703 meals for schools and 290.859 meals for domitories in 2010.

The Happy Tailor

Schooluniforms

The student uniforms for the schools supported by Help without Frontiers are produced in our own "Happy Tailor" sewing workshop. The staff are mainly refugee women. Besides sewing experience, they get a fair salary and additional social security.
